Legal & Data Compliance

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 29, 2026 · Anomaly Gallery Interactive

1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy outlines how Anomaly Gallery Interactive ("we", "our", or "us") manages information in connection with the mobile application Anomaly Gallery (the "Application").

We are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy. Our core game progression, containment puzzle evaluations, and curator achievements are managed primarily through deterministic local device storage, supported by secure network communication for essential telemetry and user assistance services.

2. Information We Process

To deliver smooth gameplay and maintain stability, we process the following categories of data:

  • Local Game Progress: Patrol milestones, unlocked artifacts, and game preferences stored in secure device storage (UserDefaults / Keychain).
  • Diagnostic & Telemetry Data: System boot timestamp, performance indicators, OS version, and crash diagnostic logs utilized to identify technical anomalies and resolve errors.
  • Attribution & Campaign Verification: Pseudonymous device identifiers (such as IDFV, and IDFA subject to your express permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework) for campaign measurement and verification.
We strictly practice data minimization: we do not collect personal names, telephone numbers, financial credentials, or physical addresses during normal gameplay.

3. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

In adherence to Apple App Store policies, when you first launch the Application on iOS 14.5 or later, you may be presented with an App Tracking Transparency dialog requesting authorization to collect pseudonymous identifiers.

If you choose "Ask App not to Track", tracking identifiers will not be accessed. All core game features, contracts, and exhibits remain completely accessible and enjoyable regardless of your choice.

4. Network Communication & Security

The Application initiates encrypted HTTPS connections to communicate with remote services for:

  • Verifying game configuration and contract availability;
  • Reporting anonymous technical crash and performance metrics;
  • Transmitting feedback submitted through the in-game support portal.

All transmitted payloads utilize industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3/1.2) protocols to ensure data integrity during transit.

5. Data Retention & Player Control

Local simulation states are retained on your device until the Application is removed or storage data is cleared via system settings. You may reset local progress at any time through the in-game settings panel.
